In the 5th minute of the match Barbudos FC got a corner. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcial Claris ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Barbudos FC's corner Franco Beccari fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Atauri Salan quite easily take care of the ball. Arvin Låsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Omar Abadia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Abadia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Camarasa in the 15th minute of play. Barbudos FC's Severino Rojas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Roberto-Carlos Rocha in the 18 minute of the game. Roberto-Carlos Rocha made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Barbudos FC's Teofilo Ermano. A collision led to Barbudos FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Baltasar Ladio hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes A.D. Puente Cantalojas got a freekick which was hit by Bart Brandie. Roberto-Carlos Rocha got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Carlos Camarasa. Arvin Låsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Abadia having to interfere.

The audience was convinced that Franco Beccari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atauri Salan was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Roberto-Carlos Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barbudos FC's Gareth Bala was substituted for Marcial Claris. Atauri Salan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Beccari, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Barbudos FC's Franco Beccari got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Emil Valström was substituted for Erland Odman. 83 minutes into the match, Franco Beccari notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Atauri Salan. Atauri Salan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Atauri Salan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Beccari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 played minutes Barbudos FC got a freekick which was hit by Panayot Lilovski. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto-Carlos Rocha during the 94th minute.
