Monte Cortazar scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ege Han, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş's Ege Han played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monte Cortazar in the 12th minute of play. Edwin van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Recep Tayyip Hitit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Kartal Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Gaspar Alborza hit a great ball. Edwin van der Sar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nejat Akçakan in the 18th minute. Monte Cortazar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ege Han having to make a save. BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş's Ege Han played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monte Cortazar in the 20th minute of play. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mario Alberto Yepes took the corner. After taking down the ball on ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s corner Mario Alberto Yepes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ege Han quite easily take care of the ball. In the 24th minute, Monte Cortazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ege Han was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 33 minutes of play, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Monte Cortazar made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ege Han was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the match, Monte Cortazar notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş's Ege Han. Ege Han was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. After 42 played minutes, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Mario Alberto Yepes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ege Han came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ reached it. A hard and well directed shot from Mario Alberto Yepes led 42 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş's Ege Han became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Monte Cortazar to make the kick off. BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş's Ege Han proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş from getting a goal against them. Monte Cortazar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ege Han came out and tried to block the shot, but Monte Cortazar slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 52nd minute. With his leg Ege Han managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Monte Cortazar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Nurkan Sabit fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş's protests and gave Nurkan Sabit a yellow card for diving instead. Nurkan Sabit hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ made a substitution. Santos Sanz replaced Refugio Colsa. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Noel Guerrero was substituted for Jedrzej Kloczko. 69 minutes into the match, BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Guerrero came free, but Ege Han reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Pacorro Aguilar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ege Han, 0-7. 76 minutes into the game, Pacorro Aguilar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ege Han. Pacorro Aguilar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. 90 minutes into the match, BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Guerrero came free, but Ege Han reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ege Han made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Guerrero in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Nurkan Sabit hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Bilgin Gündem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edwin van der Sar was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. After 96 minutes, Bilgin Gündem made it 1-8 with a short kick to the right side. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Edwin van der Sar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The BinDokuzYüzYirmiBeş supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s performance.
