Carlos Quentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Harriet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Silvino came free, but Uriel Malvin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Roldanillo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Uriel Malvin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pincha FC. After taking down the ball on Pincha FC's corner Agustin Silvino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Uriel Malvin quite easily take care of the ball. After 96 minutes, Darren McDonald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pincha FC and the Empire of Soccer players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pincha FC's Darren McDonald got a free kick in the 96th minute. With a little luck, Pincha FC's Carlos Quentin got control of the ball when Pavlos Galanopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Pincha FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Empire of Soccer to win.
