George Buturugã tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™'s goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Edmund Konopka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmund Konopka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sulo Montaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sulo Montaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™'s goalkeeper Edmund Konopka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sulo Montaña. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sulo Montaña to make the kick off. After some careless play in the ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™ defense, Özgür Özbay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmund Konopka. The ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmund Konopka should have stopped the shot. LOI's George Buturugã proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save LOI from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute Alvise Di Crescenzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmund Konopka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özgür Özbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Mehmet Akif Cerme kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. LOI's Kerimhan Cevher was substituted for Sulo Montaña.
