Epifanio Havier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Macías Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes Miguir's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Venancio Mirande who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Club A. Independiente's corner Gervasio Dalmai fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and René Vignal quite easily take care of the ball. Cesar Artigue kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Macías Botello took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Havier. Epifanio Havier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Macías Botello notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Club A. Independiente's Epifanio Havier. Epifanio Havier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th minute, Andres Ishmael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Macías Botello in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Havier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Miguir's zone, Severino Eneto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. René Vignal came out of the goal and Severino Eneto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Elvio Tancredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Macías Botello made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Miguir's Cortez Ibern slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Epifanio Havier. That made the score 1-3 after 54 minutes of play. Macías Botello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Epifanio Havier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Saverio Astigar hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Macías Botello in the 79th minute of play forced Club A. Independiente's goalkeeper Epifanio Havier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cortez Ibern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Havier having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Macías Botello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Epifanio Havier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Macías Botello showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 92 minute of play. Miguir's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
