Esteban Carvallo's late challenge caught a Dhún na nGall™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Carvallo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Dhún na nGall™'s goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Pat Walker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Moises Tafalla charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Tafalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Moises Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Gillmour made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. The supporters of Honduras booed when Dhún na nGall™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Gillmour didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras's Milagros Cabal got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Milagros Cabal off the ground. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Milagros Cabal got a free kick in the 38th minute. Lautaro Navarro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Braonain McJames. In the 41st minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pat Walker having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Cullan Dimson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cullan Dimson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pat Walker having to interfere. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 66th minute of play forced Dhún na nGall™'s goalkeeper Pat Walker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pat Walker having to make a save. The supporters of Dhún na nGall™ booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Espiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Pat Walker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Luca Espinar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Espinar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pat Walker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 minutes of play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pat Walker was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cullan Dimson in the 92nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lewis Quinnless, made in the 96th minute of the game. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
