The Cremonese fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Cruz should have stopped the shot. Jeremias Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Jeremias Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 21st minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Abram Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremias Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 97th minute Witold Ciempa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
