That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bogdan Kornatowski could save by the left post. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 14th minute of play forced Peluchita Fc's goalkeeper Bogdan Kornatowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes, Jaroslaw Czeszyk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peluchita Fc and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 minutes Peluchita Fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Peluchita Fc's Bogdan Kornatowski managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 30th minute Yu Zheng Zheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Zheng Zheng in the 37th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Zheng Zheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Yu Zheng Zheng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Bogdan Kornatowski was a little too slow when Joel Gaona got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eulalio Abaunza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Peluchita Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Bogdan Kornatowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bogdan Kornatowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 67th minute of play forced Peluchita Fc's goalkeeper Bogdan Kornatowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 69th minute. Peluchita Fc's Amado Artal was substituted for Evelio Gaufred. In the 70th minute, Marciano Obeko sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mexico's Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move. Luca Zorita struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Bogdan Kornatowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Cosme Sansone struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peluchita Fc. Peluchita Fc's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
