Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) SEA THE STARS's Spike Barton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Todd Nicholson got a throw-in 5 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Antony Clifford. Ken Bell made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Antony Clifford. After a rather tough play, SEA THE STARS's Cody Sheppard got a free kick in the 14th minute. SEA THE STARS's David Linford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. SEA THE STARS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Milagros Cabal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SEA THE STARS's David Linford did a great save. Spike Barton might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Spike Barton ran back to his position shaking his head. After 19 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Ocampo. Rodney Carsley struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SEA THE STARS. David Linford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Spike Barton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Spike Barton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. David Linford stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Spike Barton. A collision led to SEA THE STARS getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Antony Clifford hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by SEA THE STARS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Honduras's Esteban Carvallo to fire away a dangerous shot which David Linford despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo Espiga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Linford quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Linford was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremy Reeve during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, Jeremy Reeve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteban Carvallo scored 0-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Linford, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Spike Barton came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Howard Carpenter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Linford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 80th minute of play forced SEA THE STARS's goalkeeper David Linford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Sebastian Villa hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Spike Barton in the 84th minute of the match. Edmundo Espiga did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised David Linford 88 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Linford having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Honduras walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
