Angua FC's Ladislao Osasun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Angua FC from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Ladislao Osasun made a huge save. In the 5th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carolo Eufemio in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Angua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Ladislao Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ladislao Osasun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladislao Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Calixto Landoff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Angua FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calixto Landoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Carolo Eufemio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Carolo Eufemio put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. Ladislao Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 28th minute of the match. Ladislao Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 34th minute, Clodoveo Mercurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Mexico booed when Angua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Mercurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Facundo Cadaval blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ladislao Osasun having to make a save. With a little luck, Angua FC's Ladislao Osasun got control of the ball when Facundo Cadaval tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Eufemio in the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calixto Landoff in the 47th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Angua FC's Braulio Gartzi was substituted for Clodoveo Mercurio. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Calixto Landoff was the one to do the kick off. Ladislao Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladislao Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 57th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Angua FC got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Gartzi. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Luque was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mexico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Mexico:s Dante Lacasa showed great skill when he stopped Marco Laurendi:s penalty. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Eufemio, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Eufemio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Ladislao Osasun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Angua FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
