Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Wiktor Falkiewicz made the kick off and thus started the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wiktor Falkiewicz in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Mao, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 6 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Mao came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. USA were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Kania Gostyń's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. Kania Gostyń's Boruc Furgal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 25th minute of play forced Kania Gostyń's goalkeeper Boruc Furgal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Cassius Byrne got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Wiktor Falkiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cassius Byrne came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Boruc Furgal could save by the left post. In the 34th minute Alessio Mao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Mao came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes, Wiktor Falkiewicz made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. USA's Marco Day tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 46 minutes, Alessio Mao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kania Gostyń's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessio Mao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 51st minute of play forced Kania Gostyń's goalkeeper Boruc Furgal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 51 minutes into the game, USA's Monty Rogers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boruc Furgal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boruc Furgal having to interfere. Severiano Oliverio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Kania Gostyń's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but Boruc Furgal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boruc Furgal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 64th minute of the match. After 68 minutes of play, Kania Gostyń's Wiktor Falkiewicz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kania Gostyń's Konstanty Domalik was substituted for Adam Wnukowski. Sam Campbell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstanty Domalik, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Mao came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucjan Waselewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Boruc Furgal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 86th minute of play. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstanty Domalik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Kania Gostyń defense, Khalid Parry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boruc Furgal. The Kania Gostyń fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boruc Furgal should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the USA players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
