Benê Goiano came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iztal Marisancena in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 25 played minutes 20 DE SETEMBRO got a freekick which was hit by Erling Franks. In the 29th minute Iztal Marisancena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benê Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benê Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 55th minute of the match. Emílio Diniz hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Erling Franks notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Franks in the 90th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to 20 DE SETEMBRO getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Franck Kessié hit a great ball. 20 DE SETEMBRO's José Vítor Alves was substituted for Kléber Gaúcho. 20 DE SETEMBRO made a substitution. Arí Furtado replaced Iztal Marisancena.
