A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Stefan Bejrut sent off a good shot on target. Stefan Bejruts short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Thiago Pliego to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 6th minute Barnaba Blochowiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Bejrut in the 9th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Stefan Bejrut tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andrzej Klawki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute of the match, Barnaba Blochowiak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thiago Pliego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Stefan Bejrut tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Pliego had great luck who in the 23rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Barnaba Blochowiak from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 25th minute. A nice corner shot did that Xavier Figueroa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mauro Esteves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Brokopondo's Mauro Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 31st minute of play. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Esteves. Mauro Esteves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 36th minute of play forced Brokopondo's goalkeeper Mauro Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Brokopondo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaw Kasprzak to maneuver through the defense. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Brokopondo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chile were winning 0-2.

Brokopondo's Che Guevara was substituted for Kazimierz Falkowski. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Mauro Esteves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57thth minute of the game Barnaba Blochowiak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Brokopondo's goalkeeper Mauro Esteves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Brokopondo's 정 남 was substituted for Stefan Bejrut. The supporters of Brokopondo booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Fontirroig didn't get a good kick on the ball. 정 남 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro Esteves saved Brokopondo from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Brokopondo's Sebastian Bialakowski got a free kick in the 67th minute. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaba Blochowiak in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mauro Esteves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 78th minute. In the 79th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Manzanedo to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Brokopondo's corner Barnaba Blochowiak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. Jose Manzanedo charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Manzanedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute of the match Barnaba Blochowiak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Pliego showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mauro Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 96th minute of the match. The Chile players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
