Vitória StrikerS™ were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rogério Vidal took the corner. The corner led Vitória StrikerS™'s Fábio Gouveia to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Avery Novak in the 12th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rosendo Oinatz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 19 minutes Vitória StrikerS™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Rosendo Oinatz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The supporters of Vitória StrikerS™ booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Rogério Vidal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Avery Novak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After 27 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rogério Vidal who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Avery Novak almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Erlingur Haaland got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 35 played minutes Vitória StrikerS™ got a freekick which was hit by Erlingur Haaland. Rosendo Oinatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rosendo Oinatz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The Vitória StrikerS™ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Vidal was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Vidal in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Vidal came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 played minutes Vitória StrikerS™ got a freekick which was hit by Erlingur Haaland. In the 58th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rosendo Oinatz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Avery Novak's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosendo Oinatz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Vitória StrikerS™'s Cláudio Lisboa was substituted for Erlingur Haaland. Vitória StrikerS™'s João Boaventura was substituted for Fábio Gouveia. After 68 minutes Vitória StrikerS™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rosendo Oinatz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Avery Novak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avery Novak in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Lisboa in the 79th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosendo Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Mancebo in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 minutes Vitória StrikerS™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Luis Andino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rosendo Oinatz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avery Novak in the 88th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogério Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Vitória StrikerS™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Diego Mancebo scored to the left of an out of position Rosendo Oinatz, making the score, 0-2. The Vitória StrikerS™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
