In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rocky Balboa F.C.'s goalkeeper Marco Veto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marco Veto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute of play. Chile were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Rocky Balboa F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. In the 22ndth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Marco Veto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Veto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carolo Goito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Silban in the 41st minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Marco Veto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Torjus Rønneberg kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Olgierd Jazwiec kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Veto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Marco Veto in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Orlando Casaus hit a great ball. If Dionisio Rosalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Carballar. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Rosalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th match minute, Rocky Balboa F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Theobald to maneuver through the defense. Rocky Balboa F.C. were furious when Mortada Mido was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Mortada Mido kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Veto made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Dionisio Rosalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Rocky Balboa F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
