Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathieu Ricart, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Piñango in the 10th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Roazhon Breizh FC's Stanko Ederov. Stanko Ederov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, Felix Montes made a precise shot to the right of Stanko Ederov. Roazhon Breizh FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Mathieu Ricart came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. Stanko Ederov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Stanko Ederov came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Stanko Ederov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanko Ederov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Mathieu Ricart sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mathieu Ricart stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfred Valton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Roazhon Breizh FC's Robin Bompard was substituted for Mathieu Ricart. In the 66th minute Alfred Valton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robin Bompard might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robin Bompard ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Roazhon Breizh FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Gilberto Stafford hit a great ball. Roazhon Breizh FC's Stanko Ederov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Roazhon Breizh FC from getting a goal against them. In the 79th match minute, Roazhon Breizh FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Prunet to maneuver through the defense. Stanko Ederov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of the match. Robin Bompard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamid Vinet lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 94 minutes into the game, one of Roazhon Breizh FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Roazhon Breizh FC:s Stanko Ederov showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. Ecuador's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
