Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Victor Negara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 7th minute of play forced Rovine Craiova's goalkeeper Victor Negara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Rovine Craiova's Marcu Vârjean to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 16th minute of play. Victor Negara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Jyrki Saarelainen came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Negara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Negara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 33rd minute of play forced Rovine Craiova's goalkeeper Victor Negara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Simionescu. A collision led to Rovine Craiova getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Nicolae Negrilă hit a great ball. In the 37th minute of the match Facundo Cadaval sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Negara skillfully saved the ball. Manole Frunză took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 42nd minute, Alexandru Tudorică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Rovine Craiova getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Nicolae Tilihoi hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jyrki Saarelainen to strike the kick off in the second half. Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Rovine Craiova from getting a goal against them. After 55 minutes, Jyrki Saarelainen made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the match, Rovine Craiova's goalkeeper Victor Negara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. After some careless play in the Rovine Craiova defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Negara. The Rovine Craiova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Negara should have stopped the shot. If Manole Frunză had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara. Victor Negara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Victor Negara made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jyrki Saarelainen in the 75th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Tafalla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victor Negara. That made the score 2-5 in the 76 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Victor Negara in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Victor Negara made a huge save. In the 88thth minute of the game Alberto Tafalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victor Negara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 91st minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandru Tudorică, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
