Efraim Gilabert's late challenge caught a C.A. Husky's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efraim Gilabert helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Efraim Gilabert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kajar Indrekson came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the C.A. Husky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kajar Indrekson couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Caires in the 16th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tallia Incera did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Rolando Noboa 19 minutes into the match. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tallia Incera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tallia Incera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Jago Urquijo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Milagros Fraga went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jago Urquijo. Jago Urquijo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Jago Urquijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tallia Incera made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, C.A. Husky's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Jago Urquijo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the C.A. Husky defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jago Urquijo. The C.A. Husky fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jago Urquijo should have stopped the shot. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tallia Incera, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The supporters of Peru booed when C.A. Husky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Caires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jago Urquijo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julian Murillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 63 minute of play. In the 70th minute, Peru's Eliseo Mina ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jago Urquijo. Jago Urquijo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. C.A. Husky made a substitution. Benedicto Andres replaced Che Camacho. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajar Indrekson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to C.A. Husky getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Alexandros Tsangaris hit a great ball. C.A. Husky's Nabar Zafrilla was substituted for Gonçalo Caires. After 78 played minutes C.A. Husky got a freekick which was hit by Alexandros Tsangaris. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. It was a well-played corner which Antonio Tenorio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tallia Incera in the 86th minute of the match. Tallia Incera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. If Antonio Tenorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kajar Indrekson, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Jago Urquijo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 95th minute of the match.
