Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Douglas de Souza took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas de Souza got free with Benito Sanz in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Léo de Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Léo de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Tomé Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Puig during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Floresta Club U18 booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Gilmar Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Tomé Reis notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sidnei Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. Douglas de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute, Douglas de Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 38th minute, Floresta Club U18's Douglas de Souza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Floresta Club U18's Gilmar Castro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 5-0 after 41 minutes of play. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Douglas de Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Castro in the 52nd minute of the match. 6-0 became the score in the 53rd minute when Douglas de Souza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Léo de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Alcocer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas de Souza's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute Douglas de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Reis came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Gilmar Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. After 68 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. In the 69th minute, Douglas de Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta Club U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé Reis in the 71st minute of the match. Floresta Club U18 were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ruy da Rocha took the corner. Floresta Club U18's Ruy da Rocha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benito Sanz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Douglas de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Douglas de Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Floresta Club U18 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
