Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaz Chandler in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bogdan Ghimpu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 11th minute of play. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Ghimpu having to interfere. Luca Espinar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Den Cardwell in the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Martyn Dawson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Honduras's Moises Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. London Lions's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Christian Sancho was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Den Cardwell managed to get in a good position for a shot. London Lions's supporters rose to their feet, but Den Cardwell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Jamal Cavanagh in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaz Chandler in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Den Cardwell made the kick off in the second half. Den Cardwell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Luca Espinar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave London Lions the free kick. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaz Chandler in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Jamal Cavanagh got a throw-in 62 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Martyn Dawson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Den Cardwell in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Christian Sancho hit a great ball. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Den Cardwell in the 85th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Edmundo Espiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the London Lions players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edmundo Espiga hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bogdan Ghimpu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Honduras's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Honduras may have spent more time on the ball, but London Lions were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
