Robin Deckberg came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 8 played minutes Iwo Zaworski rounded Venezuela's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Robin Deckberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Iwo Zaworskis short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 18th minute, Iwo Zaworski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of General Orginal booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Zaworski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwo Zaworski in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Zaworski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68thth minute of the game Börge Palmquist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. General Orginal's Michel Vennerström was substituted for Albert Ahlroht. In the 75th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Helström in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Iwo Zaworski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Hjalmar Groth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. General Orginal made a substitution. Alvin Gråberg replaced Osvald Kinnman.
