Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind TRIDΣNT's goalkeeper Remigio Behe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chucky Gol in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 9th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigio Behe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of TRIDΣNT's Remigio Behe. Remigio Behe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hilario Medero kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chucky Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute of the match TRIDΣNT got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rogelio Liher ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Behe having to interfere. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Chucky Gol came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

TRIDΣNT's Esteban Salomon was substituted for Chucky Gol. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteban Salomon to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remigio Behe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Esteban Salomon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After 59 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rogelio Liher who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigio Behe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. TRIDΣNT made a substitution. Battal Cüneyt Akkan replaced Vaklin Dzhevov. In the 70th match minute, TRIDΣNT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Uzuri to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 71st minute. TRIDΣNT's Romulo Veto was substituted for Americo Uzuri. The supporters of TRIDΣNT booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Liher blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Veto, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Salomon in the 81st minute of play. TRIDΣNT's Remigio Behe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remigio Behe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 96th minute of play. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
