Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sten Askestät took the kick off in the first half of the match. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Thomas Grelsson made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stamen Kapitanov having to interfere. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Builder Sofia's goalkeeper Stamen Kapitanov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stamen Kapitanov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Eleuterio Nofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stamen Kapitanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Thomas Grelsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Peru booed when FC Builder Sofia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geraldo Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stamen Kapitanov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 28th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stamen Kapitanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes in the game, Sten Askestät dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Stamen Kapitanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes in the game Agustín Casadei did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Geraldo Souza. FC Builder Sofia's Stamen Kapitanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stamen Kapitanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Thomas Grelsson in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Thomas Grelsson got a throw-in 47 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Agustín Casadei. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Thomas Grelsson in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Stamen Kapitanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 57th minute of play forced FC Builder Sofia's goalkeeper Stamen Kapitanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Builder Sofia's Stamen Kapitanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save FC Builder Sofia from getting a goal against them. Murilo Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 84 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. After a rather tough play, Peru's Antonio Tenorio got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Anthony Alvarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Souza came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stamen Kapitanov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The FC Builder Sofia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
