An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 16th minute of play forced Tetra Pack FC's goalkeeper Silvano Arnau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Tetra Pack FC booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beldad didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tetra Pack FC's Cristobal Inocente in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 26 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Sainz. Jaime Cazalla made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Francisco Seco however managed to control. Silvano Arnau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 31st minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Nereo Gaur capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nereo Gaur really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Gaur got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvano Arnau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 38th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Uruguay:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tetra Pack FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Joaquin Gayoso, was totally fooled by Tetra Pack FC's Rolando Tello, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Tetra Pack FC's Cristobal Inocente got a free kick in the 44th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Gaur got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience held their breath when Jaime Cazalla in the 54th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Silvano Arnau's left hand side. 56 minutes into the match, Cristobal Inocente notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silvano Arnau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With a little luck, Tetra Pack FC's Silvano Arnau got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Gaur in the 64th minute of play. Tetra Pack FC's Santo Lluterio was substituted for Cristobal Inocente. After 70 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Sainz. 74 minutes into the game, one of Uruguay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Tetra Pack FC. Rolando Tello stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. 5-0. Tetra Pack FC's Evaristo Milian was substituted for Cacá 郭德钢. In the 80th minute, Luciano Ellande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jorge Sainz got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute Santo Lluterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, one of Uruguay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uruguay. Joaquin Gayoso had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping Rolando Tello's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Hernan Porfirio hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
