Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Segundo Anaya got the match started through his kick off. Segundo Anaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After 3 minutes, Juan Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. Enrique Sustrai's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benito Sanz firmly grabbed it by the left post. C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by German Lorien in the 11th minute. After taking down the ball on C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's corner Emilio Blasco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benito Sanz quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard and well directed shot from German Lorien led 13 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-0. Norbert Szigligeti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 16th minute of play. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Lorien in the 20th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Norbert Szigligeti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Alcocer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Lautaro Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Szigligeti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's Segundo Anaya ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Enrique Sustrai came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benito Sanz could save by the left post. 39 minutes into the match, Desiderio Intxixu notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Desiderio Intxixu's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eliseo Noboa made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Anaya in the 51st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Blasco charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Blasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emilio Blasco hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Segundo Anaya notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 70 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when German Lorien came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Sustrai in the 72nd minute of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Intxixu in the 75th minute of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Anaya in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Rosendo Caradaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Enrique Sustrai managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Sustrai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
