After some careless play in the Biancanigo FC defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Víctor Baia. The Biancanigo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Víctor Baia should have stopped the shot. Víctor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víctor Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Biancanigo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mexico's Alberto Tafalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Víctor Baia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 29th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Víctor Baia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Víctor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 34th minute of play forced Biancanigo FC's goalkeeper Víctor Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Biancanigo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Lautaro Mancebo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Víctor Baia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Luciano Boniel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Corvi in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 47th minute of play forced Biancanigo FC's goalkeeper Víctor Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arrigo Corvi was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Víctor Baia however easily saved by the left post. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arrigo Corvi went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Víctor Baia made a huge save. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víctor Baia having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Biancanigo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lautaro Mancebo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Biancanigo FC made a substitution. 江鹏坚 replaced Luciano Boniel. Víctor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Víctor Baia stood somewhat misplaced when Joel Gaona came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 80 minute. In the 84th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Víctor Baia. Biancanigo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
