Felix Montes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moïse Girerd having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moïse Girerd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Chaponnay FC's Moïse Girerd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moïse Girerd was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moïse Girerd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 47 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moïse Girerd was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evan Le Moullec to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charly Boisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Charly Boisson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Charly Boisson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moïse Girerd made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute, Bakary Ramsamy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Moïse Girerd made a huge save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evan Le Moullec in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moïse Girerd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. A collision led to Chaponnay FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Tanguy Caudrelier hit a great ball. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevan Brossier, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Stéphane Eynard hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moïse Girerd having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evan Le Moullec in the 97th minute of play. The Chaponnay FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
