Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Islam Slimani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patricio Costa scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lu Hong Qiang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mauro's Lu Hong Qiang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play. Nicola Zalewski hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Nicola Zalewski came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Mauro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicola Zalewski couldn't finish the play. Lu Hong Qiang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mauro the free kick. In the 34th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lu Hong Qiang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 41 minutes of play, Mauro's Nicola Zalewski made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Islam Slimani to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Islam Slimani, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Islam Slimani came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lu Hong Qiang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lu Hong Qiang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Mauro fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Mauro's Nicola Zalewski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Islam Slimani in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87thth minute of the game Islam Slimani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Islam Slimani in the 88th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Bara in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Islam Slimani in the 96th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 97th minute. Mauro's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
