Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Celso Eiró took the kick off in the first half of the match. USA's Jacob May got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's goalkeeper Claudemiro Tristão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. After a rather tough play, GD Almargense's Callum Doyle got a free kick in the 17th minute. Claudemiro Tristão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 20th minute of play. With an all-out effort, USA's Claudemiro Tristão threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Monty Rogers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marco Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Claudemiro Tristão came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Monty Rogers. But to his dismay, Monty Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 35 minutes, Celso Eiró made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. USA's Marco Day tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adérito Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cassius Byrne in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudemiro Tristão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 61st minute of play forced GD Almargense's goalkeeper Claudemiro Tristão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GD Almargense's Claudemiro Tristão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 71st minute of play. USA's Monty Rogers managed to work through GD Almargense's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Monty Rogers dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Claudemiro Tristão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monty Rogers's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Claudemiro Tristão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 73rd minute of play. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zarco Patrício in the 76th minute. Claudemiro Tristão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Campbell came free, but Claudemiro Tristão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GD Almargense's Claudemiro Tristão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 84th minute of play. Claudemiro Tristão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Vides came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Valadares in the 92nd minute of the match. Claudemiro Tristão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. USA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
