Chile's Mariano Lacasa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in NECKER49's zone, Orlando Casaus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Cristofor came out of the goal and Orlando Casaus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute, John Skytt made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Skytt in the 9th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Björn-Torben Kappel in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chile's Gerardo Pozo. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Cristofor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Björn-Torben Kappel's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Björn-Torben Kappel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to NECKER49 getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Björn-Torben Kappel hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 18th minute of play forced NECKER49's goalkeeper Joel Cristofor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Chile's Orlando Casaus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Cristofor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Chile were furious when Alan Tamayo was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Chile:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of NECKER49:s goal. In the 26th minute of the game, NECKER49 got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. A collision led to NECKER49 getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Damian Bernabel hit a great ball. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Skytt in the 32nd minute of the match. With his leg Thiago Pliego managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when NECKER49's Silvano Casanova fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Francisco Carballar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Cristofor having to make a save. When Francisco Carballar came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Carballar couldn't finish the play. When Damian Bernabel fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NECKER49's protests and gave Damian Bernabel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to NECKER49 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Damian Bernabel hit a great ball. Joel Cristofor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 44th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when John Skytt made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riki Čapo in the 54th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Carballar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. NECKER49's Isidoro Fagondo was substituted for Silvano Casanova. NECKER49's Leandro Haritzeder was substituted for John Skytt. Damian Bernabel kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Joel Cristofor made a huge save. After 85 minutes NECKER49's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Chile's Orlando Casaus getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Fagondo in the 86th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Fagondo in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to NECKER49 getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Björn-Torben Kappel hit a great ball. The NECKER49 support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
