Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 11th minute of the match, Federico Belarmo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Sarandí Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Santo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 17th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Albino Santo. Albino Santo took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 27 minutes, Aurelio Urti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarandí Fútbol Club and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sarandí Fútbol Club's Aurelio Urti got a free kick in the 27th minute. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Rene Estevon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. In the 34th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albino Santo was the one to do the kick off. After 65 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Eliseo Noboa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Rene Estevon made a huge save. In the 75th minute, Albino Santo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Urti came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Federico Belarmo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sarandí Fútbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Benjamin Berbiz charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Berbiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd match minute, Sarandí Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Berbiz to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Nardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sarandí Fútbol Club had played much better football throughout.
