The coaching staff of Monitor Huáscar protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ildephonso Fuertehijar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ildephonso Fuertehijar hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes Monitor Huáscar got a freekick which was hit by Ildephonso Fuertehijar. Jonathan Molino charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Molino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of 2kC Poznań booed when Monitor Huáscar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Molino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Rafal Piekarczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 2kC Poznań's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafal Piekarczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Sebastian Sienkowski came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the 2kC Poznań fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Sienkowski couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute of the match Steven Fortis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Izydor Pilipiec skillfully saved the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Izydor Pilipiec showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Sienkowski was the one to do the kick off. Medardo Pombo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Sienkowski came free, but Ferman Basabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes Monitor Huáscar got a freekick which was hit by Haimar Moixi. Izydor Pilipiec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bidari Ansola in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bidari Ansola in the 92nd minute of play forced 2kC Poznań's goalkeeper Izydor Pilipiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match, Haimar Moixi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Izydor Pilipiec saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Although 2kC Poznań had been in control for most of the match, Monitor Huáscar still came away with the win.
