A collision led to 2kC Poznań getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Bartlomiej Nikodemski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Varela in the 4th minute of play forced 2kC Poznań's goalkeeper Izydor Pilipiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Jairo Schmidt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC BARCELONA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 2kC Poznań the free kick. Jairo Schmidt hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, FC BARCELONA's Júlio Pena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Izydor Pilipiec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, FC BARCELONA's Fellipe Sanches got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Bartlomiej Nikodemski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júnior Cardozo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as 2kC Poznań's Sebastian Sienkowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Júnior Cardozo. That made the score 2-1 after 20 minutes of play. Michal Latocha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Júnior Cardozo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 24 played minutes 2kC Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Maciej Oleszak. Júnior Cardozo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michal Latocha's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Maciej Oleszak hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Jairo Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Júnior Cardozo managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when 2kC Poznań's Michal Latocha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Michal Latocha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-1 to the left of a surprised Júnior Cardozo 41 minutes into the match. Júnior Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Latocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Latocha got free with Júnior Cardozo in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luizão Varela to strike the kick off in the second half. If Sebastian Sienkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 2kC Poznań's Rafal Piekarczyk was substituted for Bartosz Bryk. A collision led to FC BARCELONA getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Luizão Varela hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, FC BARCELONA's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Latocha came free, but Júnior Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júnior Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Sienkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Pena hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC BARCELONA getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jairo Schmidt hit a great ball. Sebastian Sienkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michal Latocha in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júnior Cardozo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Júnior Cardozo came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by 2kC Poznań's Michal Latocha. But to his dismay, Michal Latocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Júnior Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Sienkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Sienkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that 2kC Poznań were the better team. 2kC Poznań's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
