Jakub Dziura took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Johans Ortubia. Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ovidio Varez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Izydor Pilipiec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 minutes of play, 2kC Poznań's Sebastian Sienkowski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johans Ortubia was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Cordero Casuso took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Izydor Pilipiec to make any attempt to save it. Jaroslaw Modliszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Turi Larrategui hit a great ball. Pagomari Portilla hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jakub Poreda took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johans Ortubia. Johans Ortubia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Oxel Viñales came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Izydor Pilipiec could save by the left post. Ovidio Varez kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes, 2kC Poznań's Jakub Dziura shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Johans Ortubia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 2kC Poznań reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucjan Soroka during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had been going on for 41 minutes, Monitor Huáscar's Cordero Casuso got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Izydor Pilipiec. Johans Ortubia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Latocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Latocha in the 46th minute of play forced Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Johans Ortubia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michal Latocha was the one to do the kick off. Pagomari Portilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Oxel Viñales hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Jakub Poreda managed to get in a good position for a shot. 2kC Poznań's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakub Poreda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johans Ortubia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastian Sienkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johans Ortubia having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Roman Kolbe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 2kC Poznań and the Monitor Huáscar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Roman Kolbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Izydor Pilipiec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oxel Viñales went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Benigno Torne replaced Txanton Sedeño. When Jakub Dziura fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 2kC Poznań's protests and gave Jakub Dziura a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Monitor Huáscar booed when 2kC Poznań was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Dziura didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Poreda in the 79th minute of play forced Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Johans Ortubia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michal Latocha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Johans Ortubia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Johans Ortubia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michal Latocha. Izydor Pilipiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Sagasti in the 89th minute of the match. The Monitor Huáscar players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
