Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Sá came free, but Johans Ortubia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute, Mané Sá left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SeleSantos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Oxel Viñales hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Cordero Casuso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monitor Huáscar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cordero Casuso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johans Ortubia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Cearense in the 26th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Wilian Cearense put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Johans Ortubia. In the 29th minute of the match, Pagomari Portilla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tales Siqueira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. SeleSantos FC's Tales Siqueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save SeleSantos FC from getting a goal against them. SeleSantos FC's Tales Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oxel Viñales in the 41st minute of play. Oxel Viñales's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tales Siqueira firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 47th minute, Cléber Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johans Ortubia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Monitor Huáscar's Humberto Sagasti was substituted for Ovidio Varez. The supporters of SeleSantos FC booed when Monitor Huáscar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tales Siqueira came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Monitor Huáscar's Oxel Viñales. But to his dismay, Oxel Viñales quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When Monitor Huáscar's Pagomari Portilla in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SeleSantos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Monitor Huáscar's Oxel Viñales got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal hit a great ball. Johans Ortubia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mané Sá. Benigno Torne kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Abelardo de Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the SeleSantos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo de Moraes couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Oxel Viñales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, SeleSantos FC's Fernandão Paraíba got a free kick in the 91st minute. Eurico Prestes hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the SeleSantos FC defense, Oxel Viñales kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tales Siqueira. The SeleSantos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tales Siqueira should have stopped the shot.
