Karaboudjan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 17 minutes into the game, Aírton Oliveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. João Carlos Fernandes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 21 played minutes ROSÁRIO SPORT got a freekick which was hit by Yu Bin Yi. 23 minutes into the game, Ademir Cavalcante threw the ball into play from the sideline. Karaboudjan's Rafael Godoi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Reginaldo dos Santos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 26 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, one of ROSÁRIO SPORT:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ROSÁRIO SPORT. João Carlos Fernandes had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Wilton de Amaral's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Yu Bin Yi in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elano Travassos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. ROSÁRIO SPORT's attentive Ernani Xavier managed to snatch the ball when Rafael Godoi made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. Elano Travassos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yu Bin Yi went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Claudinho Velasco got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute Luizão Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Yu Bin Yi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute of the game Laerte Coutinho made a throw-in which Luizão Peixoto played forward. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilton de Amaral to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Karaboudjan booed when ROSÁRIO SPORT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper João Carlos Fernandes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Tolino. After 76 played minutes Karaboudjan got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Peixoto. The supporters of ROSÁRIO SPORT booed when Karaboudjan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karaboudjan's Elano Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Xavier in the 78th minute of play. Aírton Oliveira hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Karaboudjan's Luizão Peixoto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind João Carlos Fernandes. João Carlos Fernandes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3.
