In the 8th minute, José Vítor Aparecido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that José Vítor Aparecido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elano Travassos was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 10th minute Emilio Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Emilio Lain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Braga Junior FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Elano Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Lain in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Karaboudjan's goal looked a bit too open when José Vítor Aparecido came free, but Elano Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilton de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvinho Veiga having to interfere. In the 42ndth minute of the game José Vítor Aparecido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karaboudjan's Elano Travassos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 43 minutes of play, Braga Junior FC's José Vítor Aparecido made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elano Travassos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute, José Vítor Aparecido made a precise shot to the right of Elano Travassos. Karaboudjan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5.

If José Vítor Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kléberson Gomes's late challenge caught a Braga Junior FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kléberson Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. José Vítor Aparecido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Elano Travassos made a huge save. José Vítor Aparecido showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Braga Junior FC's Artur Penczkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Vítor Aparecido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Luizão Peixoto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvinho Veiga was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. José Vítor Aparecido might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elano Travassos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Vítor Aparecido ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 82 in the game by José Vítor Aparecido from a close distance when the talented Elano Travassos managed to make a qualified save. Karaboudjan's players were relieved. Elano Travassos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Braga Junior FC. Braga Junior FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
