Vista Alegre FC's Pedrão Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Vista Alegre FC from getting a goal against them. Pedrão Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmar Rosario in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Wiliam Velloso hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vista Alegre FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ademir Cavalcante was slow to take the kick. During this time ROSÁRIO SPORT's players had a chance to rest. In the 63rd minute, Osmar Rosario made a precise shot to the right of Pedrão Sarmento. Vista Alegre FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.
