In the 17th minute, FC Gustavo FPRMZ's Sydney Maciel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Felipe Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Senna in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Hortêncio Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vista Alegre FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hortêncio Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, FC Gustavo FPRMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Neto came free, but Felipe Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Gustavo FPRMZ booed when Vista Alegre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hortêncio Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Décio Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Mandrak to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedrão Sarmento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Vista Alegre FC's Pedrão Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Maciel in the 64th minute of play. Décio Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Rubens Diniz's late challenge caught a Vista Alegre FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rubens Diniz helped the player get up and apologised. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Gustavo FPRMZ reached it. With 87 minutes on the clock, Kléber Tavares commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Gustavo FPRMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty!
