José do Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thiago Machado went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Coritiba Foot Ball Club getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Toninho Gomes hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Thiago Machado put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of José do Vale. 24 minutes into the match, Thiago Machado notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of SAO JOANENSE FC's José do Vale. José do Vale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Thiago Machado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José do Vale was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 34th minute Thiago Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes, Thiago Machado made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. SAO JOANENSE FC's José do Vale tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thiago Machado in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José do Vale saved SAO JOANENSE FC from getting behind. José do Vale came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Thiago Machado. But to his dismay, Thiago Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9.

The wind increased when Eriberto Vaz made the kick off in the second half. Thiago Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thiago Machado took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José do Vale. José do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. The crowd rose to their feet as Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Thiago Machado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José do Vale. That made the score 0-14 after 72 minutes of play. SAO JOANENSE FC's José do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save SAO JOANENSE FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 79 minutes, Thiago Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thiago Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Coritiba Foot Ball Club made a substitution. 胡亦旭 replaced Thiago Machado. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, 胡亦旭 took a quick shot and it went in 0-16 without a chance for José do Vale to make any attempt to save it. With his leg José do Vale managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Coritiba Foot Ball Club's 胡亦旭 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 86 minutes into the game, Filipe de Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAO JOANENSE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coritiba Foot Ball Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, SAO JOANENSE FC's Filipe de Amorim got a free kick in the 86th minute. José do Vale stood somewhat misplaced when 胡亦旭 came free in front of goal and shot 0-17 to the left of him in the 87 minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 胡亦旭 in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedrinho Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The long shot by Thor Machado in the 98th minute really tested José do Vale's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
