The supporters of Curiphila Eagles booed when FC Gustavo FPRMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Tande made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Gerber in the 27th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Joaquim Mandrak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murilo Paiva. Curiphila Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Mandrak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 37 minutes into the game, Curiphila Eagles's Douglas Gerber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felipe Tande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 44 minutes into the game, Oséias Arósio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felipe Tande. Oséias Arósio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. In the 48th minute Douglas Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Mandrak made a kick off. Felipe Tande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nelsinho Bastos went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Curiphila Eagles getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Breno Simões hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Douglas Gerber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Tande. FC Gustavo FPRMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Douglas Gerber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. When Kléber Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Gustavo FPRMZ's protests and gave Kléber Tavares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Kléber Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelsinho Bastos took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Tande. After a defensive mix-up in FC Gustavo FPRMZ's zone, Téo Vianna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Tande came out of the goal and Téo Vianna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Gustavo FPRMZ's Tales Toscano got a free kick in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Gerber in the 70th minute of play forced FC Gustavo FPRMZ's goalkeeper Felipe Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Felipe Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Gerber in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Breno Simões left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curiphila Eagles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Simões in the 93rd minute of play forced FC Gustavo FPRMZ's goalkeeper Felipe Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Gustavo FPRMZ's Felipe Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Bastos in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Curiphila Eagles were the better team. Curiphila Eagles's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
