With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antônio Carlos Valadares in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurício Linhares saved LRCA Office Club from getting behind. Maurício Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Cavalcante in the 6th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Olivedos's Albertinho Cavalcante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurício Linhares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Dário Viana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurício Linhares was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 9thth minute of the game Dário Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LRCA Office Club's Maurício Linhares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maurício Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Carlos Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurício Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deivid Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. LRCA Office Club's Maurício Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Valadares in the 22nd minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olivedos reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Toke Chute managed to get in a good position for a shot. LRCA Office Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Toke Chute was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armel Zettiņš breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albertinho Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maurício Linhares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dário Viana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 67 minute of play. Alonso Fuchs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Linhares having to interfere. Olivedos played a much better game than LRCA Office Club and deserved their victory. The LRCA Office Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
