Maciej Marchlewicz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Pedrão Sarmento when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 16 minutes into the game, Maciej Marchlewicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Pedrão Sarmento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maciej Marchlewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vista Alegre FC's Pedrão Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Vista Alegre FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kang Fan Xiang in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrão Sarmento saved Vista Alegre FC from getting behind. Kang Fan Xiang didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 23rd minute. Vila Zumbi's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 26th minute, Vila Zumbi's Maciej Marchlewicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maciej Marchlewicz in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrão Sarmento saved Vista Alegre FC from getting behind. Dráuzio Lucas's late challenge caught a Vila Zumbi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dráuzio Lucas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Dráuzio Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Vista Alegre FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Zé Carlos França hit a great ball. Vila Zumbi's Antoni Beninda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Senna in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hortêncio Senna to make the kick off. Pedrão Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maciej Marchlewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Maciej Marchlewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedrão Sarmento. Vista Alegre FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maciej Marchlewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Vila Zumbi were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Vista Alegre FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ferdi Kadıoğlu took the corner. Carlos Fernando Schmidt made a great header on Vila Zumbi's corner, it was just that Vista Alegre FC's Pedrão Sarmento managed to reach the ball for a save. Kang Fan Xiang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Pedrão Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Almir Salgado sped through Vista Alegre FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedrão Sarmento. The audience was convinced that Almir Salgado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedrão Sarmento was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Almir Salgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedrão Sarmento. Vista Alegre FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Almir Salgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Pedrão Sarmento came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Vila Zumbi's Almir Salgado. But to his dismay, Almir Salgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Vista Alegre FC's Pedrão Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Salgado in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Almir Salgado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedrão Sarmento was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Pedrão Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vila Zumbi booed when Vista Alegre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vila Zumbi fully deserved thier win.
