Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Douglas Gerber started the match with the kick off. Maurício Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Fábio Mandrak charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Fábio Mandrak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Luís Fábio Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Arósio in the 7th minute of play forced LRCA Office Club's goalkeeper Maurício Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes, Nelsinho Bastos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curiphila Eagles and the LRCA Office Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Curiphila Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelsinho Bastos to maneuver through the defense. Murilo Paiva came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by LRCA Office Club's Toke Chute. But to his dismay, Toke Chute quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind LRCA Office Club's goalkeeper Maurício Linhares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Juninho França was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LRCA Office Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curiphila Eagles the free kick. LRCA Office Club's Maurício Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Bastos in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Curiphila Eagles booed when LRCA Office Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho França didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curiphila Eagles's Murilo Paiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Curiphila Eagles from getting a goal against them. If Douglas Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nelsinho Bastos came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Curiphila Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelsinho Bastos couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Toke Chute came free, but Murilo Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurício Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgílio Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toke Chute in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murilo Paiva saved Curiphila Eagles from getting behind. LRCA Office Club's Toke Chute got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
LRCA Office Club made a substitution. Vitinho Vides replaced Luís Fábio Mandrak. The wind increased when Toke Chute made the kick off in the second half. Nico Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Maurício Linhares made a huge save. Maurício Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 70th minute Juninho Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LRCA Office Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Douglas Gerber scored to the left of an out of position Maurício Linhares, making the score, 1-2. LRCA Office Club made a substitution. Giovanni Cearense replaced Juninho Rosa. Murilo Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toke Chute in the 82nd minute of play. Murilo Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toke Chute, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 86 minutes Curiphila Eagles's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Ribeiro who took care of the corner kick. Nelsinho Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Maurício Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurício Linhares had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Nico Cunha's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball In the 94th minute, Nico Cunha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curiphila Eagles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 100 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Cearense came free, but Murilo Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Curiphila Eagles players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
