In the 8th minute Deivid Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kitt Pegov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deivid Cavalcante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kitt Pegov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Garcia in the 12th minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Armel Zettiņš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. With a little luck, Austra 04 VFC's Kitt Pegov got control of the ball when Edson Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antônio Carlos Valadares got free with Kitt Pegov in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 20 minutes, Deivid Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivedos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deivid Cavalcante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kitt Pegov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Cavalcante in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Cavalcante in the 27th minute of play forced Austra 04 VFC's goalkeeper Kitt Pegov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kitt Pegov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Olivedos's Antônio Carlos Valadares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kitt Pegov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Kitt Pegov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Cavalcante in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Róbson Garcia was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ulysses Romero hit a great ball. Armel Zettiņš showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbson Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Róbson Garcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armel Zettiņš was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Deivid Cavalcante notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Austra 04 VFC's Kitt Pegov. When Cícero Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Austra 04 VFC's protests and gave Cícero Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. Austra 04 VFC's Cauã Costa was substituted for Bruno de Castro. Olivedos's Armel Zettiņš proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Olivedos from getting a goal against them. Róbson Garcia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Armel Zettiņš firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kitt Pegov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Cavalcante in the 79th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Deivid Cavalcante made a precise shot to the right of Kitt Pegov. Austra 04 VFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Austra 04 VFC's Edmundo da Silva got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Edmundo da Silva off the ground. In the 93rd minute, Antônio Carlos Valadares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kitt Pegov was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Olivedos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
