Evaristo Tolino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kitt Pegov having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Nuno Severo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Austra 04 VFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karaboudjan the free kick. Wilton de Amaral missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 41 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Kitt Pegov right hand side. After some careless play in the Austra 04 VFC defense, Wilton de Amaral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kitt Pegov. The Austra 04 VFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kitt Pegov should have stopped the shot. The Austra 04 VFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Karaboudjan were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilton de Amaral made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Aírton Oliveira notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Austra 04 VFC's Kitt Pegov. Kitt Pegov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilton de Amaral in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kitt Pegov saved Austra 04 VFC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Karaboudjan defense, Marcus Pollard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jefferson do Vale. The Karaboudjan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jefferson do Vale should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcus Pollard during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Austra 04 VFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Pollard to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Evaristo Tolino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kitt Pegov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Austra 04 VFC's Kitt Pegov got control of the ball when Wilson Bezerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Luizão Peixoto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kitt Pegov. The goal made the score 3-5. After 89 minutes of play, Karaboudjan's Evaristo Tolino made it 3-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kitt Pegov was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Cauã Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austra 04 VFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cauã Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jefferson do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
