Pedrão Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edson Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Edson Mendes hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Antônio Carlos Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armel Zettiņš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, one of Vista Alegre FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 13th minute, Olivedos's Deivid Cavalcante dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Deivid Cavalcante put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pedrão Sarmento. 19 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edson Mendes came free, but Pedrão Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Antônio Carlos Valadares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedrão Sarmento was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Pedrão Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Armel Zettiņš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Vista Alegre FC's Pedrão Sarmento got control of the ball when Antônio Carlos Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Durval Simões hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's Osvaldo Negri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armel Zettiņš narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Cavalcante came free, but Pedrão Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Edson Mendes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedrão Sarmento. That made the score 4-0 in the 47 minute of play.

The wind increased when Osvaldo Negri made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Deivid Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Deivid Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Ulysses Romero got a free kick in the 68th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antônio Carlos Vander got free with Armel Zettiņš in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute, Deivid Cavalcante made a precise shot to the right of Pedrão Sarmento. Vista Alegre FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Pedrão Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Cavalcante in the 86th minute of the match. Deivid Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edson Mendes came free, but Pedrão Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrão Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Carlos Valadares in the 98th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Olivedos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
