The Karaboudjan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Refik Cumhur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karaboudjan's supporters rose to their feet, but Refik Cumhur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of SAO JOANENSE FC booed when Karaboudjan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Filomeno Nicholas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving José do Vale. That made the score 0-5 in the 61 minute of play. José do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton de Amaral in the 87th minute of play. When Karaboudjan's Wilton de Amaral in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SAO JOANENSE FC's goalie prevented a goal. Wilton de Amaral who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of José do Vale when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Karaboudjan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
