Desportivo Coala's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cacá de Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Gildo Nogueira made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Naldo Costa took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Gildo Nogueira to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Bilal Tiberkanin put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Murilo Paiva. Desportivo Coala's Gildo Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Prestes in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute Naldo Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildo Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murilo Paiva was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bilal Tiberkanin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-5 in the 78 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Desportivo Coala's Anthony Hedrick got a free kick in the 80th minute. Gildo Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá de Almeida in the 82nd minute of the match. Reinaldo Cearense's late challenge caught a Desportivo Coala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Desportivo Coala booed when Curiphila Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Túlio de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Desportivo Coala were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Curiphila Eagles's much stronger midfield.
