Clóvis Leal hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, LRCA Office Club's Luís Fábio Mandrak broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Murilo Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Mesquita in the 11th minute of the match. After 21 minutes of play, Curiphila Eagles's Nelsinho Bastos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giovanni Cearense was left in no man's land by his defense there! 25 minutes into the game, Luís Fábio Mandrak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Murilo Paiva. Luís Fábio Mandrak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Murilo Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juninho França, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, LRCA Office Club's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Costa came free, but Giovanni Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Curiphila Eagles's Oséias Arósio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovanni Cearense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Glauco Mesquita to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Glauco Mesquita made a precise shot to the right of Murilo Paiva. Curiphila Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Olívio Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Paiva having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Clóvis Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 66 in the game by Nelsinho Bastos from a close distance when the talented Giovanni Cearense managed to make a qualified save. LRCA Office Club's players were relieved. Nelsinho Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nelsinho Bastos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 92nd minute Glauco Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match LRCA Office Club got a corner. Curiphila Eagles's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Fábio Mandrak ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on LRCA Office Club's corner Luís Fábio Mandrak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Murilo Paiva quite easily take care of the ball. Nelsinho Bastos came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Giovanni Cearense could save by the left post. LRCA Office Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Curiphila Eagles for a fine match.
